Description
Well here was a problem child. I worked on this model for quite some time trying to get things "right", but its time to move on. I am not very happy with the front of the craft, needs way more detailing, but when you reach the end of your rope, your done...no more!
This ship is classified as a "Corvette" in my Sci-Fi worldview. To me, Corvettes are massive piloted ships that are larger than bombers, but much smaller than Frigate capital class warships. Thus it is labeled as a "Strike Ship". This particular ship would be relatively small in scale versus other Corvettes...most likely a "Fast Attack Corvette" that targets enemy bombers and anything slower than strike ships.
The wings do rotate forward for Carrier storage, but this bird is for Carriers only as it does not have traditional landing gear. It uses common mag-rail launching and recovering harnesses. The wings are not for atmospheric flight, but rather house communication and sensor gear.
Crew would be around 3.
